William D. Ford, CFP®, Vice President │ Strategic Accounts
Bill Ford is Vice President, Strategic Accounts for SQN Securities, LLC. He is responsible for initiating and developing strategic business alliances with financial intermediaries and SQN’s distribution partnerships with third-party asset managers. Bill has more than twenty years of experience in the financial services industry as both a business development executive and Financial Advisor. His areas of expertise include traditional and alternative investment management, retirement planning and insurance solutions. Bill is known for providing thoughtful advice, successful outcomes and responsive, long-term support based on the unique needs of his clients.
Prior to joining SQN, Bill was Vice President, National Accounts for American Century Investments. He has developed and managed account relationship efforts for Guardian Investor Services, MetLife and Putnam Investments. Bill has also held positions as Executive Director, Advisory Services for a Retirement Plan Administrator and Financial Advisor with a legacy organization of Ameriprise Financial.
Bill is Series 24, 7 and 63 licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) and holds the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC). He attended the University of New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Minor in Business Administration.
James A. Kamradt, Fund Syndication
Jim Kamradt heads up syndication development for SQN’s proprietary funds, working in the independent broker dealer and registered investment advisor channels. Jim has been involved in collateralized financing since 1983. His area of expertise is educating people about the value propositions of complex investment products.
Prior to joining SQN Securities, Jim headed up distribution at ATEL Securities and syndicate development at TNP Securities and Independence Realty Securities. Before entering the securities sector, he was a credit and operations manager for a Fortune 100 firm where he established a quality program which won the Malcolm Baldridge Award for Excellence.
Jim holds FINRA Series 7, 22, 24, 39 and 63 securities licenses. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University where he remains active on the entrepreneurial board, working to educate students on the monetization of new technologies developed within MTU’s various engineering schools, and his MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Jim has also been active as an adjunct professor at Dominican University of California’s International School of Business.
